Eloisa Masror, MS Associate Therapist

In May 2022, I graduated from the University of San Francisco’s Santa Rosa campus with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. Before joining the Santa Rosa Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy full-time, I worked as a bilingual therapist at the YWCA Sonoma County. There I gained extensive training in trauma treatment including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while working with adults, children, and families experiencing mental health issues related to domestic violence and other trauma.
I joined SRCBT in December 2022 as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and am receiving intensive training in the treatment of anxiety disorders, including social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and specific phobias as well as Insomnia and Habit Disorders, including skin picking and hair pulling. I work under the supervision of the center’s clinical director and co-founder, Litsa R. Tanner, MFT.
I was drawn to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because of its evidenced-based, short-term, goal-oriented treatment approach, as well as its high success rate. It is rewarding to watch clients and their families gain confidence as they develop skills to reduce and manage their anxiety.
I have lived in Sonoma County for nearly a decade and consider it home. I am committed to serving this community, both as a member of this county and as a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I’m also committed to continuing my professional development by pursuing continuing education through trainings and workshops.
