I graduated from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in September 2019. During my graduate training, I worked at a local community mental health agency serving individuals 5-24 years old and their families. I gained experience helping those with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, attachment disruptions, PTSD, ADHD, and other behavioral problems. I also have experience leading group therapy focused on communication skills, loss, and grief.

I am drawn to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy because of its systematic and goal-oriented approach while simultaneously allowing for a warm and collaborative relationship. As a therapist, CBTis appealing because of its evidence-based status and overall treatment success with longer lasting symptom relief. I appreciate helping to equip individuals with tools to reduce and manage their specific distressing symptoms.

I was born and raised in Sonoma County and am grateful for the opportunity to help individuals in the community. I am receiving intensive training in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, including Social Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, as well as Insomnia and Habit Disorders, including skin picking and hair pulling. I am also receiving advanced training in helping parents to manage their young children’s energetic and disruptive behaviors using Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.

I am a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and Professional Clinical Counselor Associate, working towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor, under the supervision of Litsa R. Tanner, MFT. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and am committed to continuing my professional development through training and workshops offered by professional therapist organizations.
