I graduated from The University of San Francisco in Santa Rosa, CA, with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in May 2020. During my graduate training, I worked at a nonpublic day school and a public school serving students ages 6 to 18 years. I gained experience helping those with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, attachment disruptions, PTSD, ADHD, and other behavioral problems. I also have experience leading group therapy focused on social-emotional skills and communication.

I am drawn to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy because of its systematic and goal-oriented approach while simultaneously allowing for a warm and collaborative relationship with clients based on their individual needs. CBT is appealing to me because of its evidence-based status and overall treatment success with longer lasting symptom relief. I appreciate helping to equip individuals with tools to reduce and manage their specific distressing symptoms.

I attended both graduate and undergraduate school in Sonoma and am grateful for the opportunity to work with individuals in the community. I am receiving intensive training in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, including Social Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, as well as Insomnia and Habit Disorders, including skin picking and hair pulling.

I am a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, working towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, under the supervision of Litsa R. Tanner, MFT. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and am committed to continuing my professional development through training and workshops offered by professional therapist organizations.
