About the Center

The Santa Rosa Center for Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (SRCBT) was co-founded by Jennifer Shannon, MFT and Litsa Tanner, MFT. The mission of the center is to provide state of the art cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for children, teens and adults who struggle with a variety of issues including anxiety disorders, depression, insomnia, habit disorders such as skin picking and trichotillomania, and challenging behaviors in young children. SRCBT is one of the only centers providing Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) in Sonoma County. PCIT is a quick and effective therapy that helps dramatically reduce the occurrence of oppositional, defiant, and aggressive behaviors in children ages 3-6 years old. In addition to providing high quality treatment, SRCBT is also a training facility for clinicians interested in evidence based treatments.
